Hi, I’m Alyssa
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, life long New Yorker, and intensely curious human. I work primarily with neurodivergent individuals motivated to effectively navigate the challenges of young adulthood. Together we explore strategies for embracing your brain, managing new responsibilities, changing relationships, and finding one’s place in the world.
I have extensive experience treating mood disorders, and work with clients in the immediate aftermath of a crisis or loss, as well as those interested in improving insight and self-awareness, setting long-term goals, and exploring existential issues.
The therapeutic relationship, to me, is the cornerstone of our work together. I place a strong emphasis on building a connection that fosters trust and comfort. It's within this space that we'll explore your experiences, set goals, and delve into the existential questions that often arise on the path of self-discovery.
I embrace a lot of levity; both in life and in my work, and I’m deeply humbled by the trust you’re considering putting in me. I believe in your inherent worth and capacity for change, and will be honored to join you wherever you are on your journey to wellness, growth, and peace.
